چکیده
The work focuses on the theoretical study and design of Thermoacoustic Stirling-Like Cycle Engines. One main goals this is to describe application a methodology for energy analysis optimization thermoacoustic devices. This new approach avoids complicated mathematical treatments, facilitates access fascinating technology all audiences. presented based distribution active reactive acoustic power flow according passive circuit. In addition, allows optimizing device by comparing different circuits. method evaluated at level with models simulations developed, each case studies described. Besides, publication shows praxis from first steps, so reader guided in manufacture compact Stirling recovery engine, operating laboratory conditions. resulting demonstrator itself an academic tool knowledge transfer.

Introduction to Cyberspace: First Steps
Cyberspace: A word from the pen of William Gibson, science fiction writer, circa 1984. An unhappy word, perhaps, if it remains tied to the desperate, dystopic vision of the near future found in the pages of Neuromancer (1984) and Count Zero (1987)—visions of corporate hegemony and urban decay, of neural implants, of a life in paranoia and pain—but a word, in fact, that gives a name to a new sta...
متن کاملMultiphase Stirling Engines
Analysis, design, fabrication, and experimental assessment of a symmetric three-phase free-piston Stirling engine system is discussed in this paper. The system is designed to operate with moderate-temperature heat input that is consistent with solar-thermal collectors. Diaphragm pistons and nylon flexures are considered for this prototype to eliminate surface friction and to provide appropriate...
متن کاملAcoustic streaming measurements in annular thermoacoustic engines.
Experiments with an annular thermoacoustic engine employing quasiadiabatic interaction between traveling acoustic waves and an inhomogeneously heated porous material indicate the presence of a closed-loop mass flux. A qualitative modeling of the enthalpy flux in the thermoacoustic core provides an opportunity to estimate the thermal convection associated with this mass flux, by using temperatur...

Journal of Energy in Southern Africa • Vol 19 No 3 • August 2008 Abstract Worldwide attempts are being made to increase the use of our renewable energy sources as well as to use our current fossil fuel energy sources more efficiently. Waste heat recovery forms a substantial part of the latter and is the focus of this project. Stirling technology finds application in both the renewable energy se...
